A soft modeling lead strip of flat (rectangular) cross section measuring 0.4 x 1 mm. Against the thin 0.2 mm variants it is noticeably thicker, so it will imitate sturdier bands, brackets and fittings. Lead shapes easily and holds the form it is set to.
Cut the strip, shape it and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue. The thicker profile holds its shape well on more prominent elements. The surface will take paint as well as primer.
For modelers of military equipment and vehicles and for diorama builders who need more prominent flat bands, fittings and stiffeners.
