Half-round lead wires 1.2 mm (Plusmodel)

The package contains a set of soft lead wires with a half-round profile 1.2 mm in diameter. It is not a kit but a general modeling material. The half-round shape (the letter D in section) sits on the surface with its flat side, so the wire stays in place and looks like a half-raised line or strip. It is the thickest half-round variant in the range, suitable for robust hoses and piping.

Use

• Imitating heavy hydraulic and fuel hoses and piping.
• Prominent handles, grab rails, frames and strips on vehicles and aircraft.
• Bends hold their shape thanks to the soft lead; it does not spring back like plastic or steel.
• It is easy to cut with a knife or nippers and is glued with cyanoacrylate glue.

For modelers and diorama builders who want to add prominent realistic details beyond the contents of a kit. The 1.2 mm diameter is made for the heaviest lines, mainly in larger scales.

The material contains lead. Wash your hands after work and keep it out of the reach of children. It is not part of any kit and is supplied on its own as a material.
