Optic Colour 2.3 mm, optical fibers for imitating lights

This is an accessory, not a model. The package contains transparent colored optical fibers (rods) with a diameter of 2.3 mm, from which you cut small lenses for a faithful imitation of lights, beacons, lamps or optics on a model. The material conducts and reflects light well, so the finished detail looks like real glowing glass.

Use

• Cut the fiber to the length you need and sand or round the end into the shape of a lens.
• Glue the part with cyanoacrylate into a prepared seat on the model.
• Suitable for position lights, lamps, beacons and the instrument optics of vehicles, aircraft and dioramas.
• To increase the effect, a reflective (for example silver) patch can be placed under the lens.

For modelers who want to lift the realism of light features above the level of plain paint. It will be appreciated above all by builders who work with detail and weathering.

The accessory is supplied unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
