Fourteen oval magnets 75x42 mm for larger figures, creatures and small equipment.
Responsibility details are not available.
Seventy-five millimeters in length means a base on which something markedly bulkier than a foot soldier stands. Under this format you usually find a mounted creature, an armored trooper in a space suit or a small group of figures set on a shared board. Fourteen pieces in the box will cover such a group with something in reserve.
The larger the area that meets the steel, the greater the force needed to pull it away. With large models that counts twice over: they are heavier, and they also have their center of gravity higher, so when a car brakes a greater leverage acts on them. An oval of this size therefore belongs to the sensible minimum for models above the usual height of a figure.
Turn the base bottom up and seat the magnet in one movement; sliding it about in the glue creates a thin broken layer that will later give way. If the bottom is an uneven resin surface, level it with a file first, otherwise the magnet will meet it at only a few points.
At many shows the models are carried from a box to a table and back several times a day. A magnetic bottom simplifies this handling, because you lift the model by the base and not by its fragile parts. The habit of reaching for a barrel or a spear thus falls away of its own accord.
Steel plates, boxes and the models are ordered separately.
Anyone who carries a collection often will also appreciate that on steel the model returns of itself to the same position that its outline marks out. You then need not think the layout of the box through again every time.
