A kit of the American P-47 Thunderbolt fighter from the brand COBI. It is assembled without glue, as the parts fit into one another.
Responsibility details are not available.
The P-47 Thunderbolt was an American single-seat fighter of the Second World War and was among the largest and heaviest machines in its category. It was powered by a radial piston engine whose output at altitude was supported by a turbocharger housed in the rear part of the fuselage; because of it the fuselage has an unusually massive, bulbous shape. In the wing it carried eight heavy machine guns, and under the wing it could carry bombs or unguided rockets, so a high-altitude fighter became a feared attacker of ground targets. Its rugged structure gave it the reputation of an aircraft that brings its pilot home even when badly shot up.
The model is assembled without glue. The parts fit into one another according to the instructions, so you can do without glue and without paints, and a part that has been seated wrongly can be released and fitted again. The number of parts, the extent of the package and the dimensions of the finished model are given on the box.
For builders who want a finished model for the shelf without work with glue, filler and an airbrush, and also as a gift for younger enthusiasts of aircraft. Even someone who has so far built only snap-together toys can manage the assembly, and the finished machine takes handling better than a glued model.
Paints, glue and modeling tools are not part of the delivery and are not needed for the assembly, unless stated otherwise.
