Foam foliage, flowers, yellow from Woodland Scenics is a scenic material of dyed foam granulate that stands in for flowering growth on a model. It is used for bushes, field boundaries and flowering meadows.

This is a loose scenic material, not a finished element to lay down. The basis is fine dyed foam granulate, which on a model behaves like foliage with colored flowers. Yellow is a rewarding shade, because on green growth it catches the eye at once and breaks up a uniform area of grass; the typical use is a flowering bush by a house, a field boundary along a road, the neglected edge of a field or a garden by a station. The material can be applied on its own or scattered into greenery that is already finished, which creates the impression of flowers growing through the growth.
Coat the area with thinned PVA or scenic glue and scatter the material onto it, or apply it a pinch at a time onto the tops of bushes. Once dry, tap the excess off and return it to the bag; nothing goes to waste. For firm attachment and resistance to dusting, the finished area is fixed with a fine misting of thinned glue through a sprayer. It pays to be sparing with flowers: several smaller flowering places look more natural than a continuous yellow carpet.

The foam material is light and flammable, so keep it away from an open flame. Glue is not included in the package.
