About product

LifeColor PG113 South Europe Dust Powder Pigment

A powdered weathering pigment from the Powder Pigments range by the Italian manufacturer LifeColor. The fine dry powder serves for applying realistic dust; it is not a covering paint. The South Europe Dust shade is pitched toward the warmer, ocher earthy tones typical of the dry dustiness of southern Europe and the Mediterranean. The pigment can be applied dry or bound with a medium.

Use

  • Apply with a soft brush, dry, onto the suspension, the lower areas and the horizontal surfaces.
  • For permanent hold, fix it with a fixative or mix it with water, thinner or a medium.
  • Mixing it with paint creates thick mixtures for dried mud and deposits.
  • It holds best on a matte base; build the intensity up gradually.

Who it is for

For modelers who build vehicles and dioramas in a southern European and Mediterranean setting and want the matching warm ocher dusty weathering.

A fine powder: do not inhale it and do not work in a draft. A respirator and good ventilation are recommended. Keep out of the reach of children.

FAQ

South Europe Dust is pitched toward the warmer, ocher earthy tones typical of the dry dustiness of southern Europe and the Mediterranean.

No, it is a powdered pigment intended for dirtying and aging a model, not for coloring the surface.

Apply it dry with a soft brush and fix it with a fixative, or mix it with water, thinner or a medium.
