Pigment Fluor Green: a fluorescent pigment from AMMO of Mig Jimenez

Pigment Fluor Green is a powdered pigment from the fluorescent range of the Spanish brand AMMO of Mig Jimenez. It is not a paint in a bottle and not a muted weathering shade for ordinary patina, but a very fine powder in a luminous green shade which is used wherever an area is meant to be conspicuous. Fluorescent shades look saturated in daylight already, and under ultraviolet light their luminosity grows further still. The green from this group is popular in modeling chiefly as the color of energy and lighting, because the eye takes it for the most luminous of them all.

Where it is useful

The pigment is fine enough to be dosed over really small areas, so it will serve even on tiny elements where a brush with paint would be too coarse. Safety and handling: this is a very fine powder. Work in a well-ventilated room, do not inhale the powder and open the container carefully so that the pigment does not disperse into the surroundings. Store it closed, dry and out of the reach of children. Before working on a finished model, try the shade and the strength of the application on a test piece.
