A loose pigment powder in a red orange shade from the fluorescent group of pigments of the Spanish brand Green Stuff World. It is applied dry with a brush, settles in the texture of a surface and works as a dry color body. The word FLUOR in the name sets this group apart from earth pigments for weathering: it is neither rust nor dust but a saturated tone for color emphasis. Red orange lies between orange and red, so it is the closest in the fluorescent group to the color of red-hot metal and smoldering embers.
The product is a powder in a tub, not a liquid paint in a bottle. A fluorescent shade is at the same time not a pigment that glows in the dark: phosphorescent powders are run by Green Stuff World as a separate Glow in the Dark range. The resulting saturation depends on the dosing, so it pays to add the pigment gradually.
For painters of miniatures and modelers who do fire and light effects and want a saturated red orange tone for them of the kind an ordinary weathering palette does not offer.
The pigment is a fine powder. Work in a well-ventilated area, do not inhale the powder, protect your eyes and keep it out of the reach of children.
