Pigment FLUOR YELLOW

Pigment FLUOR YELLOW from Green Stuff World

A loose pigment powder in a yellow shade from the fluorescent group of pigments of the Spanish brand Green Stuff World. The pigment is a dry color body that is applied dry with a brush and settles in the texture of a surface. The word FLUOR in the name sets this group apart from ordinary earth pigments: it is neither dust nor rust but a clean saturated tone intended for color emphasis. Yellow is the lightest signal color in palettes of this kind, so it is used where a detail is to catch the eye at once.

What it is and what it is not

The product is a powder in a tub, not a liquid paint in a bottle. A fluorescent shade is also not the same thing as a pigment that glows in the dark: phosphorescent powders are kept by Green Stuff World as a separate Glow in the Dark range. The effect will be whatever the amount of pigment you apply to a surface makes it.

Typical use

• Warning and signal features on science-fiction machinery and mechs.
• Light effects, displays, indicator lights and energy weapons.
• Fire transitions toward orange and red.
• Color accents on terrain, bases and dioramas.
• Mixing your own shade with other pigments.

Who it is for

For painters of miniatures and modelers who work with pigments and are looking for a pronounced yellow tone outside the ordinary weathering scale, for example for gaming miniatures and fantasy scenes.

The pigment is a fine powder. Work in a well-ventilated area, do not inhale the powder, protect your eyes and keep it out of the reach of children.
