Piping system, ver. B is a diorama accessory for building pipe runs, prepared for tube with a diameter of 3.5 mm. It is not a kit of a piece of equipment but a detail for industrial and technical scenes.

Industrial and technical dioramas live off the details nobody counts at first sight but without which a scene looks empty. Piping is one of them: it runs along the walls of halls, over tanks, around pumping stations and machine rooms, and it gives a scene technical order. This version B is prepared for tube with an outside diameter of 3.5 mm, which you choose for building the run according to your own scene.
It comes into use in workshops, machine rooms, railway stations, pumping stations and factory sites, and just as well in military scenes with technical support facilities. Because the run is made up of individual sections, it can be adapted to the particular space: you can lead the piping along a wall, turn it into a corner or take it up above the terrain. The accessory starts from the diameter of the tube, so it is not firmly tied to a single scale: what decides is how thick the piping is meant to look in your scene. In the small scales the same diameter gives a massive process run, in the larger ones an ordinary installation.
Divide the tube with a clean cut, so that the ends seat without a gap, and put the whole run together dry first. It is bonded with super glue applied in drops with a pin, as an extra drop is hard to remove from a smooth surface. Use a base coat before painting. Runs suit metal and industrial shades with a dark wash at the joints, with light rust in the places where water runs down and with scuffed edges where people walk past the piping every day. Distinguishing the individual branches by color is common in real plants and gives a scene legibility. Finally unify the surface with a matte varnish.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
