Plastic Bases - Round 55 mm BLACK is a round plastic gaming base 55 mm in diameter in black. An in-between size that is worth checking against the rules first.
Responsibility details are not available.
A round plastic gaming base 55 mm in diameter, black according to the name. It is equipment for play on a board, not a display base for a cabinet. Fifty-five is not the most common format, and that is exactly why it is good to know when to reach for it.
Gaming systems work with a fairly fixed set of diameters and models occasionally fall between the categories: a model is too wide for the smaller circle and needlessly small on the larger one. A diameter of 55 mm fills that gap. Those few extra millimeters are not cosmetic, because measuring is done from the edge of the base, so the difference between fifty and fifty-five shows up during a session. Before putting the format into play, compare it with what your rules prescribe for that model, and if need be agree it with your opponent in advance.
For players who need a format between the usual categories, and for collectors who want their models on one type of base. The plastic material, the diameter and the BLACK designation follow from the product name. The thickness, the profile and the number of pieces in the package are stated by the manufacturer on the packaging.
