About product

AMMO PLW Pacific Dust (panel line wash)

Panel Line Wash Pacific Dust from AMMO of Mig Jimenez is a ready-mixed enamel (solvent-based) panel line wash. Its thin consistency lets it run by capillary action into engraved panel lines and recesses, where it accentuates the detail once dry and creates subtle shadows. The light dusty shade is tuned for the light blue undersides of aircraft and for the typical dust of Pacific airfields of the Second World War. It complements dark blue upper surfaces well and also suits ships and sci-fi subjects. It comes in a bottle of about 35 ml, ready to use.

Use

  • Applied with a brush straight into panel lines and details, where it runs on its own
  • Once it has become tacky, the excess is wiped off with a clean brush moistened in enamel thinner
  • Suitable for light blue undersides and for a hint of settled dust
  • Thinned and cleaned with enamel thinner (mineral spirits), never with water

Who it is for

For modelers of Pacific aircraft who want to accentuate light undersides and suggest service dust. It combines well with the dark blue wash on the upper surfaces.

Enamel preparation containing solvents: flammable, use in a well-ventilated area and keep away from children.
