PLW SKY GREY

PLW Sky Grey - an Enamel Panel Line Wash (AMMO of Mig Jimenez)

Panel Line Wash Sky Grey is a ready-made enamel wash in a light gray shade, supplied in a bottle holding 35 ml. It is ready for immediate use and, thanks to its enamel (solvent-based) base, it flows by capillary action into engraved lines and recesses, where it creates fine shadows and emphasizes the way the surface is broken up.

Use

• Applied with a brush straight into panel lines and folds; once it has set, the excess is wiped away with a cloth dampened in mineral spirits (white spirit).
• Thinned and cleaned with mineral spirits (white spirit) or with odorless enamel thinner, not with water.
• The light shade is ideal for light gray areas such as Japanese aircraft of the Second World War, ships, trains or sci-fi subjects.
• It works best on a smooth gloss or satin varnish, which prevents unwanted bleeding.

Who it is for

Suitable for modelers who want to shade light camouflage and base colors on aircraft, ship and vehicle models realistically. More experienced builders will appreciate it for the fine shading of large areas.

A solvent-based enamel product. Work in a well-ventilated area and keep out of the reach of children and away from open flame.
