QUICK CEMENT EXTRA THIN

AK Interactive Quick Cement Extra Thin (40 ml)

This is a very thin solvent cement for plastic models from the manufacturer AK Interactive, in a bottle of 40 ml. The formula is so fluid that it spreads like water and works on the principle of capillary action – you first bring the parts together, touch the seam with the brush and the cement flows into the joint on its own. The solvent melts the surface of the plastic slightly, so once dry a strong, practically invisible weld is formed, with no cement flowing out. The Quick version is tuned for very fast drying, which shortens the wait between the individual steps of a build. An ultra-thin brush for precise application and a square stable base to stop the bottle tipping over are included.

Use

• gluing the parts of injection-molded plastic kits (polystyrene)
• bring the parts together first and only then touch the seam with the brush – the cement flows into the joint by capillary action
• ideal for joints with a small mating surface, where a thick cement would flow out
• apply only a small amount, so that the solvent does not melt visible surfaces
• the fast drying is useful where you need to carry on with the build quickly

It will be appreciated by plastic modelers who want clean, strong and unobtrusive joints and at the same time the shortest possible wait for drying. It suits the precise gluing of smaller and larger kit parts alike.

The product is flammable and contains solvent. Use in well-ventilated spaces, away from open flame and out of the reach of children. Not suitable for transparent parts and some plastics sensitive to solvents.
