Red Charm Flowers 6mm is low scenic vegetation from the brand Paint Forge. It is not a kit and not a finished object in a scene but material to be applied: flowering tufts that a modeler spreads over his own terrain. The name carries the red shade of the flowers and the designation 6 mm, by which the height of the growth is usually stated with scenic vegetation.
Where it suits
Vegetation is placed in a scene only once the terrain is finished — after painting, the wash and pigments. Spread the tufts out irregularly and in unequal numbers, so that the growth does not look planted out. When a tuft does not hold by itself, stick it down with a drop of PVA or cyanoacrylate glue under the base; the glue must not wick into the fibers, otherwise the flowers will stick together into a hard clump. The tufts can be divided with scissors into smaller pieces and spread out lightly, so that they come off seated. The shade of the flowers does not have to be touched up, but careful dusting with a pigment at the root ties a tuft to the terrain better.
For modelers who make dioramas, vignettes and elaborate bases — for military hardware, figures and fantasy models alike. Use is not limited to one scale, as the character of the scene decides.
