Red Ochre/Light Rust

Abteilung 502 Red Ochre / Light Rust (oil paint, 20 ml)

Red Ochre, also designated Light Rust, is an oil paint from the Abteilung 502 modeling range from AK Interactive. The red ocher shade is the basis for light rust effects, earth filters and warm brown-red transitions. A formula with a balanced share of oil and fine pigments gives a more matte result and easy mixing with other oil paints.

Use

• It is thinned with mineral spirits or with an odorless thinner for oils, not with water.
• On a matte clear coated surface apply dots and blend them with a clean brush into rust, a filter or an earth effect.
• A long open time allows gradual mixing and layering of rust tones.
• Any excess is removed with a brush moistened in thinner.

Who the paint is for

For modelers and figure painters who create light rust effects, earth filters and warm transitions on vehicles and dioramas.

It contains solvents used for thinning. Work in a well-ventilated space, out of the reach of children.
