A kit of the ReZEL mobile suit, a mass-production machine of the Earth Federation forces from a later part of the Gundam timeline. It is made by the Japanese company Bandai as a snap-fit model: the parts are already colored right through and snap together, so you need neither glue nor paints for the build. Anyone who wants to can still spray it and pick out the panel lines. The range designation is part of the name and determines how demanding the build is.
The RGZ-95 ReZEL is a mobile suit following on from the development line of the Zeta Gundam, but this time conceived as a mass-produced machine for ordinary service rather than a unique prototype. Its treatment matches that: a transformable structure simplified for production, a sober color scheme and the helmet-like head typical of mass-production Federation machines.
Separate the parts with nippers a little away and level the gates with a file or a sanding sponge. On intricate machines it is a good idea to check the movement of the joints after assembling each subassembly, so that the model does not seize up while being posed. Pick out the engraved lines with a paneliner and wipe off the excess. A unifying matte or semi-gloss varnish will even out the shades of the individual parts and rid the surface of its plastic sheen. Mass-production machines also take restrained wear, with which they look more believable than in a factory-fresh shine.
The parts are pre-colored in the plastic and snap together. Glue and paints are not needed for the build; tools and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
