Spoils of War is a publication from Abteilung 502 devoted to the equipment and the setting of the Gulf War of 1991. It is a book, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The publication deals with the subject of the Gulf War in 1991, specifically with the viewpoint of the French Daguet division, which was put together in the autumn of 1990 and operated in Saudi Arabia. The book shows the equipment, the gear and the setting of desert service in the way a modeler can use them for a build of his own, that is with the emphasis on surfaces, wear and the colors of a desert environment.
For modelers who build the equipment of modern conflicts and desert schemes, for diorama builders looking for a convincing setting and for anyone interested in the subject who wants a continuous body of visual reference in one place. The book also works as a companion to literature on the development of armored vehicles in the 1980s and 1990s.
The publication is in English and no Czech version exists. Models, paints and tools are not part of the book.
