A crushed stone scatter for building terrain, spilite in a gray-brown shade, grain size 0, a 300 g package.
Responsibility details are not available.
A crushed stone scatter for building the terrain of dioramas, of display bases under models and of a model railroad. Scattered and fixed, it gives a surface a real coarseness that paint alone cannot replace. It finds use on the ballast bed under track, on field and access tracks, on road shoulders, on loose slopes and in places where a scene is meant to break down naturally into grit.
A stone scatter of spilite rock in a gray-brown shade, in a package weighing 300 g. The number 0 in the name denotes the grain size in the manufacturer's graded range; the grain dimension and the recommended scale are given on the packaging. The shade comes from the stone itself, so the scatter does not have to be painted if the gray-brown tone suits you.
The proven procedure is this: first scatter the material dry and spread it into the shape needed, then sprinkle it with water with a drop of detergent so that it is wetted, and finally drip thin PVA glue through it until the layer has soaked. Once it has dried it holds and still keeps a varied surface. Sweep the excess off with a soft brush. The shade can be muted or evened out with a thin washable coat and dusting with pigment, but make a test on a small sample to one side, because stone soaks up paint more deeply than plastic.
For builders of dioramas and a model railroad and for modelers who want to complete a finished model with a display base with a faithful surface. The package by weight will last for repeated use, and the remainder can be stored in a closed container for as long as you like.
Glue, a base, paints and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
