The Model Craft nippers are intended for separating plastic parts from the sprues and for trimming the sprue gates. They allow a clean cut level with the part, so that after separation only a minimum of excess is left to sand down. The handles have an insulating surface for a comfortable grip and the jaws are opened by a return spring, which speeds up repeated work.
