About product

SUPER CHROME (AK Interactive)

A special chrome effect paint ready for airbrush spraying. It contains a resin component which improves adhesion, the depth of the shine and the stability of the very fine particles. Those align perfectly to the surface and create an intense mirror (chrome) effect with high covering power.

Use

  • Apply it with an airbrush (a brush is also possible) in thin, even coats.
  • You will achieve the best mirror effect over a smooth, glossy black base.
  • Suitable for chroming details, rims, exhausts, trim strips and mock-ups.
  • It is resistant to UV radiation and works best on homogeneous, smooth surfaces.

Who it is for

For modelers and collectors who want a realistic chrome, mirror look without electroplating. It requires a carefully prepared glossy base.

Keep out of the reach of children. Work in a well ventilated space and protect yourself from inhaling the fumes.

FAQ

You will achieve the strongest mirror effect over a smooth, glossy black base, which must be free of unevenness.

It is primarily intended for the airbrush; application with a brush is possible, but the mirror effect tends to be best when sprayed.
