A set from the Spanish maker AMMO of Mig Jimenez, put together for white winter camouflage and for its wear. It contains ten products: one 10 ml bottle, two of 17 ml and seven of 35 ml. It covers the whole sequence from the white coat through chipping to dirtying.
Period white was applied to vehicles in a hurry, often as a lime wash, which washed and rubbed off. That is exactly why the set contains a washable white and a product for chipping. Under the white there has to be a finished and dry base shade of the vehicle, because it is that shade which should show through in the chips. The white is therefore applied as the next-to-last step, just before the weathering.
The set mixes two chemistries. The white paints and the pigment are thinnable with water, while the washes and liquid effects are solvent-based. Before each step read the label of the particular bottle and let the surface dry through properly between coats.
Some of the products contain organic solvents. Work with ventilation, away from open flame, and do not inhale the pigments.
