Super Robot Wars, Gespenst is a plastic kit of a combat robot from the Japanese manufacturer Bandai. The parts are pre-colored in the plastic and snap together, so you build the model without glue and without painting.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Gespenst is one of the core machines of the Super Robot Wars series, and Bandai supplies it as a plastic snap-fit kit. The parts are already colored right through and snap together, so you need neither glue nor paints to finish the model. The range designation is given in the name and determines how demanding the build will be and how detailed the parts you get are.
The Gespenst is one of the so-called personal combat machines from the original story line of Super Robot Wars. It is conceived as a general-purpose, mass-deployable type: it has a slimmer, militarily sober silhouette with no needless ornament, a strongly shaped head with a single visor and clearly divided armor panels on the torso and limbs. In the world of the series it serves as the basis the other, more heavily armed variants come from.
Separate the parts with nippers clear of the shape of the part itself and level the rest of the gate with a knife or a fine file, so that no white nick is left in the plastic. The model is finished as soon as it is put together, but anyone who wants to can paint it: the surface only has to be degreased, and it will then take acrylic well from a brush or an airbrush. The most striking effect comes from picking out the engraved lines with a panel color, a restrained dry brush on the edges and a final matte varnish to unify the surface.
The model is built by snapping the parts together; glue is not needed. Tools, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
