Light Sand - Sira Hobby liquid pigment

Light Sand is a liquid weathering pigment from the Czech manufacturer Sira Hobby in a light ocher, sandy shade. Once dry it fixes itself to the surface of the model with no further fixer. It is water-thinnable and its strength can be adjusted by thinning it or letting it thicken.

Use

• Light desert and sandy dusting of vehicles in an arid setting.
• Settled fine sand on horizontal surfaces, hatches and in corners.
• Lightening an over-dark earthy finish with a hint of sand.
• Applied with a brush to a surface dampened with water and a drop of dish soap; it layers up to fuller tones.

Who it is for

For modelers weathering vehicles of desert and dry battlefields who are looking for a light, easily controlled pigment. Suitable for beginners and experienced modelers alike.
