Transparator is an auxiliary acrylic medium from AMMO that is added to acrylic paints and reduces their covering power, so that the paint becomes translucent. It is neither a paint nor a thinner in the true sense: it serves to create glazes, filters and subtle layered transitions with a brush as well as an airbrush, without changing the quality and the finish of the paint. It is water-thinnable, odorless and compatible with AMMO acrylics and those of most other brands. The 17 ml package holds a metal mixing ball.
