The Triangle Palette from U-STAR is a mixing palette of triangular shape for painting models by hand. On it you thin and mix paint before it touches the model.

A triangular palette is a small piece of bench equipment that comes in handy every time you pick up a brush. Paint is taken out of the bottle onto it, here it is thinned and mixed and here the surplus is taken off the brush. The name refers to the shape by which this variant differs from the other palettes in the U-STAR range.
Painting by hand stands and falls with the consistency of the paint. Unthinned acrylic drags brush marks and fills engraved lines, while paint that is too thin runs into places it does not belong. On a palette you set the consistency precisely and without the risk that thinning ruins the whole bottle. The triangular shape also gives clearly separated corners, so that you can keep the starting shade and its lightened and darkened variants side by side and move between them smoothly.
For figure painters who work with the shades of skin and fabrics, for builders of interiors and cockpits, and for anyone who touches up small things with a brush after airbrushing. It also serves for preparing paint for a dry brush, when the shade needs to be spread out over an area.
The dimensions, the material and the number of mixing areas are stated by the manufacturer on the packaging.
