A grassy tone is given to a model by Grass Filter Tensocrom from Lifecolor, a translucent filter that pulls a green camouflage of several sprayings together into one continuous surface.
Responsibility details are not available.
Grass is the green member of the Tensocrom toning range. It is laid on in a thin translucent layer over a finished spraying and shifts its tone toward green, while leaving the original drawing of the camouflage legible.
How to even out a camouflage of several shades
After spraying, a multicolor scheme often looks like a set of separate color fields, because each of them has a different saturation and a different character. A filter solves that fragmentation in the simplest way: one common translucent layer across all the fields brings them to one shared cast. The boundaries between the fields stay, but they stop looking like a clash of foreign colors. On green schemes, Grass is exactly the layer that connects the green and at the same time adds depth to it.
For modelers who build green vehicles and want the result to look like one whole. The filter is laid on in parts, not over the whole surface at once, so that the treated and the untreated area can be compared as you go.
Stir the contents before application. Work in a ventilated space and keep out of the reach of children.
