Coarse lengthwise grooves at a 2.5 mm spacing on a thin 0.50 mm sheet. The sheet size is 15 x 30 cm.
Responsibility details are not available.
A spacing of two and a half millimeters comes from a hundredth of an inch and is among the coarsest in this group. The individual strips are so wide that once cut out they can even be used on their own as individual boards, which does not work with the finer variants. The material stays thin, half a millimeter, and the sheet area is 15 x 30 cm.
In 1:35 scale one strip corresponds to a board 8.7 cm wide, in 1:24 scale to six centimeters and in 1:16 scale to four. These are the measurements of an ordinary fence board, of a corral slat or of boards from a dismantled crate. If you cut strips across the grooves from the sheet, you get individual slats complete with an edge that only needs trimming to the length you want.
First cut the slats somewhat longer than you need and trim the ends only after gluing, so that the top edge is not leveled flat. Make the posts from a plastic square rod and glue the slats with slight gaps between which the background shows. Lean a few slats or leave them out entirely; only that gives the fence an age and gives the scene behind it depth. Darken the lower ends of the slats at the ground, because that is where wood rots first, and add a tuft of dry grass at the foot of the post.
