About product

Vietnam - Sira Hobby liquid pigment

Vietnam is a liquid weathering pigment from the Czech manufacturer Sira Hobby in a green-brown, tropical earthy shade. Unlike loose pigments it fixes itself to the surface of the model once dry, with no need for a further fixer. It comes in a water-thinnable form; the strength of the effect can be controlled by thinning it or, conversely, by letting it thicken.

Use

  • Dust and mud on chassis, running gear and the lower parts of vehicles in a green-brown tone.
  • Imitating settled earth mixed with vegetation on vehicles in tropical and woodland settings.
  • Applied with a small round brush to a surface dampened beforehand with water and a drop of dish soap.
  • Layering it and mixing it with other shades lets you tune the depth and the color of the deposit.

Who it is for

For modelers who weather military and civilian vehicles and are looking for an easily controlled pigment with a permanent bond. Suitable for beginners and experienced modelers alike.

A water-thinnable, odorless product. Keep out of the reach of children, do not drink it and keep it out of the eyes; do not breathe the dust created when sanding dried pigment.
