A plastic kit from the science fiction and fantasy field, from the Gundam line, under the designation War Horse. The individual products of this line differ from one another in the form of the piece being built and in the extent of the package, so they can be built and collected side by side. The scale is often not given on subjects like these, because the subject is not a real machine from which a ratio could be derived; look for figures on the size of the finished model on the box.
The package holds the parts to assemble one model and instructions. How many parts that is, how the kit is divided up, whether the parts are differentiated by color and whether the build will call for glue are all given by the manufacturer's instructions. It pays to look into them before you set to work, because on complex models the order of the steps decides what can still be painted and what cannot.
Separate the parts with cutters a little away from the part and clean the remainder up with a sharp blade, so that no burr is left on the edge. Try the assembly dry first. If you are going to paint the model, wash and degrease the areas and apply the paint in thin coats, so that the fine edges are not flooded. The finished model belongs in a display case or on a shelf out of direct sunlight; you take the dust off it with a soft brush, whereas a cloth on a complex surface does more harm than good.
A kit with instructions is supplied. Paints, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
