A sheet of masking strips 0.7 millimeters wide in a continuous, uninterrupted version. It serves for spraying warning and caution stripes on the surface of a model; its use is not tied to a particular type of aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
Warning stripes are among the details that on a real aircraft point out dangerous places: the plane of rotation of the propeller, the edge of the walkway on the wing, the latches and hinged panels. On a model they are at the same time one of the hardest elements to paint by hand, because these are long straight lines a fraction of a millimeter wide, where every tremor of the hand shows at once.
There is nothing to weigh up here beyond one thing. This item contains no metal parts and no decals and it has no fuller counterpart to choose between. The one thing worth considering is whether the width suits you. Seven tenths of a millimeter corresponds, at a reduction of seventy-two times, to roughly five centimeters of real stripe width, which is the dimension usual for warning marking around the propeller disc and at the edges of walkways.
Working with the tape is undemanding but calls for a steady hand: apply it stretched in one pass, press the edge down with a toothpick and only then spray. It is best removed at a sharp angle toward yourself so that fresh paint does not tear. The rest of the sheet can be kept without trouble for the next build; the material does not age as quickly as decals.
