WET EARTH TRACKS

AMMO Wet Earth Tracks, a weathering set for tracks

This is a complete set of weathering products from AMMO of Mig Jimenez for creating realistic effects of tracks driving through wet, muddy terrain. The set combines several types of material: a texture paste and an earth deposit, a track color, a pigment and a wash, with which you can build up a deposit of damp earth and dirt on the running gear. Most of the products are solvent-based (enamels and the pigment), and the set also contains an acrylic component.

Use

• Applying the texture paste and the earth to the tracks and the lower parts of the vehicle for mud with volume.
• Picking out and darkening the tracks with the track color and the wash, and dusting and flattening with the pigment.
• The enamel and pigment components are thinned with mineral spirits (odorless thinner) and the acrylic component with water; do not mix chemically incompatible products with one another.
• Work in layers and let each step dry.

Who the set is for

For modelers of armored and tracked vehicles who want to capture a vehicle in wet, churned-up terrain faithfully. Suitable for more advanced weathering; experience of weathering techniques is recommended.

The enamel and pigment products contain solvents or fine dust. Work in a well-ventilated room, do not breathe in the pigment and keep everything out of the reach of children.
