The figure set SS Panzer Crew Kursk Set 1:35 from Alpine Miniatures — two collector's resin figures of a German tank crew from the fighting at Kursk (1943).
Responsibility details are not available.
A collector's set of two resin figures in 1:35 scale from Alpine Miniatures, depicting members of a German tank crew from the period of the fighting at Kursk in 1943. The set suits a model tank as well as an Eastern Front diorama. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The subjects are two German tank crewmen in the period uniform of the armored troops of the summer of 1943, when the vast tank battle at Kursk was being fought on the Eastern Front. The figures are treated purely as historical modeling subjects, with the emphasis on period dress and a natural stance suited to placing them beside an armored vehicle.
This is a multi-part resin casting for advanced modelers. First wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap to remove any mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks and lugs off carefully and clean the surfaces with a file or abrasive paper with your airways protected. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and fill any gaps. Apply a thin primer before painting; figures are usually painted with acrylics, oils or enamels, layering the shades step by step and working out the shadows and highlights on the face, the uniform and the equipment.
The resin figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
