This is a modeling material, not a kit. Super Sculpey Firm is a firm polymer modeling clay in a neutral gray color weighing 454 g, that is one pound. The Firm version is harder than the classic Super Sculpey, so it holds sharp edges, textures and volumes better and deforms less while being worked. The gray shade makes it easier to read shadows and surface detail. It is made by the American brand Sculpey (Polyform).
The compound stays workable until you bake it. It cures in an ordinary household oven at roughly 130 °C, depending on the thickness of the layer. It also stands up to repeated baking, so you can work in stages: bake the base, add more compound and bake again. Once cured, the surface can be sanded, drilled, cut and painted over with acrylics.
Figure sculptors, master makers and modelers who need a reliable material for fine detail work will appreciate it. Its firmness makes it suitable above all for precise sculpting; when the workshop is cold it is a good idea to knead and warm the compound first.
Bake the material according to the maker's instructions, watch the oven temperature and ventilate. It is not intended for consumption, nor for small children without supervision.
