AMC 34 YR with the APX-2 turret is a kit of the French light tank in 1:100 scale from Zebranomodel.
Responsibility details are not available.
The kit captures the French AMC 34 light tank in the YR variant fitted with the APX-2 turret. 1:100 scale is ideal for collectors who want a whole line of development together, because the model takes up a minimum of room and looks good even in formation with other vehicles.
In French interwar practice the designation AMC belonged to the combat armored vehicles of the cavalry. The AMC 34 type was created in the first half of the 1930s as a light, fast machine for escort and reconnaissance. The vehicles were delivered with several types of turret, and it is the APX-2 turret that distinguishes the variant captured in this kit. The production runs were small and individual machines differed in detail; the type belongs to the less known and all the more interesting chapters of French armored development.
Paint the turret and the hull separately, as it is easier to reach the hidden areas. Remove the parts with a sharp scalpel, sand the parting lines with fine paper and degrease the model before painting; choose the glue according to the material of the parts. Apply the primer and the top color in thin layers. French multicolor camouflage looks better at this scale with softened transitions, so paint it with a brush and very thin paint or with an airbrush at low pressure. Finally bring out the engraving with a dark wash and dust the running gear lightly.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
