The kit represents a French armored car built on the Laffly S15 chassis. 1:100 scale is rewarding for collectors who want whole collections of machinery together without taking up room, because the finished model occupies only a few centimeters.
In the 1930s Laffly specialized in off-road chassis with their characteristic small auxiliary wheels, which improved mobility over rough ground. A whole group of derivatives was built on the universal S15 chassis, from artillery tractors to armored versions. In French practice the abbreviation AM in the designation is tied to wheeled armored vehicles for reconnaissance and patrol duties. The machines were built in small numbers and differed from one example to the next in the details of the body.
Remove the small parts with a sharp scalpel over a surface so that they do not get lost. Sand the parting lines with fine paper, degrease the model before painting and choose the glue according to the material of the parts. Apply the primer coat thinly, because at this scale every unnecessary layer affects the sharpness of the detail. Bring out the divisions of the hull with a dark wash, use a dry brush on the edges and keep the dusting with pigments very restrained.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
