The 1:100 French trailer for fuel and lubricants (late) is a small kit of a rear-area vehicle of the French army from the manufacturer Zebranomodel.
Responsibility details are not available.
The kit captures a French army trailer for carrying fuel and lubricants in the late form. It is not a combat vehicle but a rear-area supply item that rounds out the columns and the support echelon of armored and motorized units. The model in 1:100 is very small and builds quickly. The particular contents of the package and the number of parts are stated on the packaging of the kit.
Motorized units needed a continual supply of fuel and oils, and that far from permanent depots as well. Trailers towed by trucks or tractors made it possible to move fuel stocks along directly behind the units. In the 1930s the French army modified such trailers over time, which is why an early and a later form are distinguished. Both variants are made as separate kits, so that a modeler can choose the one that matches the scene intended.
Cut the small parts off with a sharp scalpel and clean them up with a fine sanding sponge, so that they are not deformed. Glue with thin cement for plastic applied on the tip of a brush. Apply a thin primer before painting and spray the paint with an airbrush in light coats. The model comes off best in a group with a tractor and other elements of a column. Keep the weathering restrained; dusty deposits by the wheels and fine edge highlighting with a dry brush suit it.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
