A resin kit in 1:100 scale from Zebrano. The model captures the German Pz.Kpfw. I light reconnaissance tank in the Ausf. C version. It is a small collector's casting for experienced modelers, with which the usual preparation of resin parts has to be allowed for. The small 1:100 scale is popular for more extensive collections and for tabletop games.
The Pz.Kpfw. I Ausf. C was a German light tank designed as a fast reconnaissance machine with a tracked chassis and strengthened armor against the early versions of the Panzer I. It was built in only small numbers and saw limited use during the Second World War. It is precisely its rarity that makes it an interesting subject for collectors.
First wash the resin parts free of release agent residue, cut the casting blocks off and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Given the small scale the detail comes out with shading and with fine dry-brushing of the edges; the weathering is completed by a wash into the recesses and dust pigments on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
