A kit of the command guise of the Japanese Type 95 Ha-Go light tank with suspension reworked for service in Manchuria, in 1:100 scale from Zebranomodel. The v.2 designation sets this item apart from the v.1 guise issued alongside it.
The Type 95 Ha-Go was a Japanese light tank of the 1930s with an air-cooled diesel engine, a single-man turret and a 37 mm gun. For service in Manchuria a reworking of the running gear was created, meant to limit the pitching of the vehicle on hard and uneven ground. Command guises differed from combat ones in their extended signals equipment and visible antenna gear. The combination of both reworkings gives the model a form that can be told from a standard vehicle at first glance.
Begin the assembly with the running gear and the hull on a flat surface, so that once cured the model stands straight and without twisting. Take the parts off with a sharp knife, sand the parting lines down with fine paper and choose the glue to suit the material of the parts. Leave the fine antenna parts to the end. Apply a thin primer before painting, spray the base shade in coats and keep the blotches of the Japanese scheme to a softer transition. Grade the patina: a wash into the recesses, a dry brush on the edges and finally light dust on the running gear and the lower hull.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
