Responsibility details are not available.
A kit of the Polish wz. 29 armored car, known as the Ursus after its chassis, in 1:100 scale. The small scale suits extensive collections, small dioramas and gaming with models. In the same line Zebranomodel runs a wide range of Polish and French interwar equipment, so the model can be slotted into a coherent collection.
The wz. 29 was a Polish heavy armored car built on the chassis of a truck of domestic manufacture. It was a fairly tall wheeled vehicle with a rotating turret, which for its day carried strong armament in the form of a light gun supplemented by machine guns. The armor stayed thin and protected the crew from small-arms rounds and splinters. The vehicle was made in only a small batch and served with reconnaissance units, where its main weakness showed, namely weight and limited mobility off hard roads. It was committed to action in 1939.
Build the chassis and the wheels first and only then fit the hull, so that the underside can be painted comfortably. Cut the parts off leaving a margin and clean them up away from the sprue. For injection-molded plastic use thin modeling cement; with resin parts wash them free of release agent and glue them with cyanoacrylate. The tall silhouette of the vehicle calls for a thin layer of base so that the rivets and hatches stay legible. Apply the paint well thinned at low pressure, keep the weathering restrained and concentrate it on the running gear and the lower edges.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
