An injection-molded plastic kit of the cult Japanese Honda Monkey minibike in the 50th Anniversary form in 1:12 scale from the manufacturer Fujimi. In the larger 1:12 scale the model offers rich detail of the frame, the engine and the running gear, and it is a rewarding subject for collectors of motorcycles. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Honda Monkey is a small motorcycle with an unmistakable compact design, popular all over the world for its playful character and simple construction. The 50th Anniversary form recalls the long history of this model with a different color treatment and with its details. The small dimensions and the friendly look made the Monkey an icon.
Assemble and paint the frame and the engine before the other assemblies. Treat the chrome and gloss parts with a suitable metallic paint, lay the bodywork elements on with an airbrush in layers and finish with a clear coat. Bring the small cables and details out, and lay the sponsor decals and the markings on a gloss base. In the larger 1:12 scale even fine details will stand out.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
