An injection-molded plastic kit of the Honda NSR500 road racing motorcycle in 1:12 scale from the Japanese brand Hasegawa. The model captures a top 500 cc class machine in the livery of the All Japan GP500 championship of the 1989 season. The box contains parts in white and gray plastic, clear parts and a decal sheet.
The Honda NSR500 was a works racing machine with a 500 cc two-stroke engine and was one of the most successful machines in the history of the premier road racing Grand Prix class. It became a repeat winner of world titles in the 500 cc class. The version from the end of the 1980s represents the era when two-stroke 500s ruled the circuits.
Build the frame, the engine and the fairing in sub-assemblies and plan the painting in advance. Spray the fairing with an airbrush over a base coat and cover it with a gloss varnish; use a gloss intermediate coat under the decals. Glue the chrome and polished parts with a glue that leaves no haze. Added wiring and hoses will raise the realism.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
