A kit of the Suzuki RG400 Gamma sports motorcycle in the late 1986 version, in 1:12 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Suzuki RG400 Gamma is a road sports motorcycle of the mid-1980s, that is from the time when machines derived directly from racing specials were reaching the showrooms. It was powered by a two-stroke engine, and the shape of the fairing, the tank and the exhausts did not hide its kinship with the circuit motorcycles of the day. The late version that the kit is named after corresponds to a machine from 1986; it differed from earlier examples in details of equipment and in the color versions.
This is a model in 1:12 scale, which is the most widespread one for motorcycles. The finished machine comes out at roughly eighteen centimeters in length, and there is enough room in it for the frame, the brakes, the shock absorbers and the exhaust runs to show. The exact extent of the parts and of the color versions is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
A motorcycle is built in groups: paint the frame, the engine, the wheels and the fairing separately and join them only once they are painted, otherwise you will not reach some places later. The gloss shades of the fairing deserve a filler primer and sanding between coats. If decals are included, apply them onto a dry gloss surface and let a coat of varnish run over them. Do not lose the engraved lines under a heavy coat of paint.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and tools are not included, unless stated otherwise.
