A small resin kit of the German super-heavy E-100 tank with a turret of Krupp design in the railroad scale of 1:120 (TT) from the Czech maker Hauler. It is a small, finely cast resin kit of just a few parts, intended for more experienced modelers. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted; for the exact contents of the package, go by the enclosed instructions.
The E-100 was one of the projects of the German Entwicklung series (E-series), which was meant to unify the construction of armored vehicles at the end of the war. With a planned weight of around 140 tons it was one of the heaviest tanks ever worked on. By the end of the war only a part-built chassis had been made, which the British captured; the turret from the Krupp company stayed at the design stage. The subject therefore remains more of a technical curiosity and a much-liked subject for collectors of paper panzers and prototype vehicles.
First wash the resin parts to remove any mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off carefully and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways while sanding. Spray the armor over a primer and build the weathering up with thin washes in the corners and fine pigments for mud and dust effects. In a small scale work sparingly, so that the detail is not lost.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
