Finnish national insignia with a gray background 1:144 from Mark I is a decal sheet of wet decals in which the insignia are backed by a gray area for use on darker camouflage.

A set of conventional water-slide, wet Mark I decals in 1:144 scale, in the version with a gray background under the insignia itself. The gray area makes sure that the insignia covers even darker camouflage fully and that the colors stay true. The sheet offers eight diameters, roughly 300 to 1200 mm full size, in two complete sets.
The blue national insignia was the Finnish Air Force marking from 1918 until the mid-1940s. Historically it had no connection with later symbolism and stood as a traditional Finnish military symbol of that period. The version with a gray background is meant above all for darker finishes on the upper surfaces.
Prepare the surface with gloss varnish, dip the decal in lukewarm water, slide it into place and draw the excess water off. A softener will help the decal settle onto the surface; at the end seal it with clear varnish to the sheen you want.
This is a decal set, not a kit. The model and the paints are not included in the package.
