Responsibility details are not available.
The national insignia of the Regia Aeronautica from the period of the Second World War, printed in a black and white version and prepared for models in 1:144 scale. The name gives six diameters: 600, 700, 850, 1000, 1100 and 1200 millimeters. These are dimensions on the real aircraft, so reduced into 1:144 scale the insignia work out at roughly four to eight millimeters across. According to the name the package holds two sets, which will cover two models or leave a reserve.
Sheets of this kind are usually applied the wet way. Cut the insignia out close to the edge of the printing, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and set it aside until the film can be moved on the paper. A smooth glossy surface belongs under the decal, so that no air is trapped under the film. Once moved into place, press the water out with a soft cloth and let it dry thoroughly. On riveting and panel lines use a softener in a thin coat and do not touch the decal until it is dry. Seal the finished markings with a matte or semi-gloss varnish according to the surface of the model. Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is not a self-adhesive version; a soaked self-adhesive film is ruined.
The sheet will be appreciated by modelers in small scales who need insignia in graded sizes, and also by those who are adding to or replacing the markings supplied with a kit. The model, paints, varnish and softener are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
