Even in this small scale, the large real aircraft means this is a big model with a long fuselage and a wide span. The kit has extensive glazing and offers masking templates for the cockpit and the wheels. Check the actual decals against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The Lockheed C-141 Starlifter was an American jet strategic transport aircraft. It was powered by four engines mounted under a swept wing and it had a T-tail. It served with the US Air Force to carry troops, materiel and cargo over long distances all over the world. The A version was the original form with the shorter fuselage, which was later stretched on the upgraded B version.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic; sand the long fuselage and the wing joints carefully and check that the engine nacelles are seated symmetrically. Mask the glazing with the templates enclosed. Given the size of the model, check the strength of the landing gear. The aircraft carried white and gray schemes as well as a bare metal finish — after a gloss coat and the decals, emphasize the panel lines with a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
