For this box the manufacturer gives two complete kits in one package, clear parts and a decal sheet for machines of the Legion Condor unit as well as for two prototypes. Check the contents of the package on the box.
The Bf 109 was born as a slender all-metal monoplane with retractable landing gear and an enclosed canopy at a time when most fighters still had two wings and an open cockpit. The first production versions did not have the powerful engines of the later machines and their armament was weak, yet the fighting in Spain showed that the age of the biplane was over. The experience from those operations was written into the following versions, which made the Bf 109 one of the most-built fighters in history.
The small scale depends on clean work: level the mold seams and the sprue gate marks before gluing, because filling on such a small fuselage wipes out the panel lines. Do not mask the canopy with tape but with liquid mask, or paint it with a fine brush. Keep the weathering and the panel shading very restrained, otherwise the model looks dirty. The two kits in the package make it possible to build a pair of machines in different markings.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
