The P6Vm concrete fence in 1:144 scale is a resin diorama set from Metallic Details from which you build the typical fencing of an airfield or a military compound. It is not a model of an airplane, but an accessory for a diorama.

The set contains castings of concrete fence units and footings from which a continuous fence is put together. It is not a model of an aircraft or a vehicle, but a diorama accessory that gives a finished model an environment and a readable scale. The designation P6Vm belongs to the standardized concrete fences built around airfields, barracks, depots and industrial compounds in Eastern Europe.
The castings have the engraved texture of a concrete panel and the articulation that in the small 1:144 scale practically cannot be imitated with plastic parts or with paper. The units are lined up one after another to any length, so you adapt the fence to the dimensions of the base, and you can turn it into a corner or leave out an entrance. The sets can be combined and the fencing extended as needed.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with dish soap, so that residues of mold release agent are removed, otherwise the paint will not hold. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a sharp knife, level the surfaces with sanding paper and protect your airways when sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue, and for the footings the thicker gel variant with a longer setting time is suitable. Apply a primer before painting. A light gray concrete shade works as a base, a dark wash accents the joints between the panels and a dry brush draws out the edges; pigments at the foot of the fence add dust and a deposit of soil.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
